Zone Air mini split error codes
Zone Air DIY mini splits are built on the TCL residential inverter platform and use its code set. The three codes DIY installers see most are E0 (a miswired communication cable), E5 (the indoor and outdoor sections are not a matched pair) and E4 (a refrigerant joint that did not seal).
Covers: DIY single-zone (9K to 36K), DIY dual-zone, DIY 3-zone.

No code matches that. Check the characters (b and 6, 0 and o, and E and F are easy to confuse) or try another brand.
How Zone Air shows error codes
The indoor display shows the code in place of the set temperature. E codes are faults: something has failed and needs diagnosis. P, H, d and F codes are protections: the system stopped or throttled itself to prevent damage, and many clear on their own once conditions return to normal.
Brands built on the same platform
These brands share a code table with Zone Air because the same factory builds them, so their pages describe the same faults: ACiQ, American Standard, Ameristar, TCL, Trane.
