What E9 means on a Tosot
The condensate level in the indoor unit is too high (a float switch tripped). The unit stops cooling so it does not overflow. Applies to units with a drain pump or float switch.
On this platform, E9 is a protection: the system stopped or throttled itself to prevent damage; many clear on their own once conditions return to normal.

How to fix it yourself

- Confirm water flows from the drain outlet while cooling.
